Seafood Jambalaya
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup small oysters
- 1 cup shrimp, raw
- 3 ounces tomato paste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley, minced
- 1 teaspoon Lea & Perrins
- ½2 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon powdered thyme
- 1 ½ cups rice, cooked
Directions:
- Make a roux with oil and flour, stirring until a deep brown in color.
- Add crab meat, oysters, shrimp, and tomato. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add onions, pepper, and garlic that have been sautéed in butter.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook for 20 minutes.
- Serve in a rice ring.
